Where We Began
Hi, I'm Alexandra. Though most people call me Ally!
I started Crisscross Knits with a love for chunky yarn blankets and a dream to create something meaningful. My first attempt at making a blanket in 2023 didn’t go as planned; but I didn’t give up!

In November 2024, I picked up crocheting and wanted to give hand-knitting another shot. This time, I created chunky yarn blankets for two very special people- my newborn son and his grandmother, my mom. Seeing the joy these handmade gifts brought them sparked something in me. I knew I wanted to spread that warmth and happiness to others.

With the support of my amazing husband and the inspiration I get from my beautiful son, I’m turning this passion into a growing business.
Hand-knitting brings me peace, purpose, and pride; and I can't wait to share that with you, one blanket at a time.
Our Mission
At Crisscross Knits, our mission is to bring joy and comfort to others through the art of chunky yarn knitting. Whether by creating custom, hand-crafted blankets or guiding others in learning the craft, we aim to inspire creativity, spark connection, and build a warm, welcoming community.
